Inspiration comes in different forms : a flash, a reflection, a conversation, an emotion, a question or an observation.... A sort of internal dialogue begins... nothing precise, but persistent... An obsession, a desire, a fantasy.... After some research, sometimes in books or on Internet, the models arrive, thoughts are exchanged, about poses and the condition of the sessions, clothes are removed.... They pose and propose, the artist observes and lets himself go in this interaction: charcoal in hand, sheets of paper scattered over the surface, the artist sketches again and again, snapshots of photos are taken too... the models follow the rhythm, execute and propose.... Creative energy is there. Then comes the stage of solitude, where the artist is face to face with the canvas, alone... the work directs, the artist listens, soul and body at disposal in this mystical journey until the end, then silence.....
